Do you ship your cakes or cupcakes?
Due to the fragile nature of our cakes and cupcakes, we are not able to ship them. We will deliver your cake or cupcakes in the Triangle area for an additional charge. Please contact us for more information.
How far in advance should I order a cake or cupcakes?
We require that you order your wedding cakes 1 month in advance, however most wedding cakes are ordered about 6 months ahead. If you are in a cake emergency situation, give us a call and we may be able to assist you. There will be an additional rush fee. We require that you order any other specialty cakes 2 weeks in advance, and for cupcakes, we require that you order them 1 week in advance. Just like the cakes, for last-minutes situations, we may be able to provide the cupcakes with an additional rush fee.
Is there a set-up fee involved with the wedding and specialty cakes?
The set-up fee for all cakes is included in the total price. Delivery, however, is charged on a case-by-case basis. It is charged according to the distance traveled.
Do you offer tastings?
We offer complimentary tastings by appointment only. Please contact us, and we will make every effort to work with your schedule.
Do you offer consultations, and how much are they?
We offer consultations for all wedding and specialty cakes. We want to be completely sure that you are satisfied with the design of your cake. The consultations are free of charge.
Do you make sculpted cakes?
We specialize in sculpted, custom cakes. Please contact us to set up a consultation, and we will be happy to design a custom, sculpted cake for your event.
Are you hiring?
At the current time, we are not hiring. You are more than welcome to email us your resume and we will keep it on file for the future.
Will you use my own family recipe for a cake?
Because of the structural issues that come with making multi-tiered cakes, we can only use our recipes. They have been specially formulated to bake properly in our pans. Anyway, Grandma makes your cake recipe the best.
Will you make a cake with copyrighted images?
Unfortunately, we are not able to do cakes with these images due to the legal issues involved.
Will you provide the flowers and cake stand for my cake?
Unless we are creating custom sugar flowers for your cake, you will need to speak with your florist about providing the flowers for your cake. You will also need to provide your own cake stand.
Do you make vegan/sugar-free/gluten-free/kosher cakes?
As of now, we do make a few vegan cakes. Please contact us for more information. We do not have sugar-free, gluten-free, or kosher cakes at this time, however, we always have new recipes in the works.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. We accept credit card payments through PayPal. All that you need is an email address. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DISCOVER, and PAYPAL cards.
